This doll-sized sampler introduces you to the basic techniques of gansey knitting: a Channel Islands Cast-on, overlapped split welt, underarm gussets, Scottish shoulder strap, and seamless in-the-round construction. Sized to fit 18" dolls or similar-sized teddy bears. Worked at 7 stitches per inch on US Size 2 needles using Frangipani Traditional Guernsey Wool. Also available as a complete knitting kit!
