The fourth in my series of Aran-inspired Christmas Stockings! The pattern includes both charted and written instructions. Knitted in the round using US Size 6 (4.0mm) needles, this stocking features cuff-down construction with a turned heel and grafted toe.
Required knitting skills include small-circumference circular knitting, cable knitting, and following a pattern using either charts or written line-by-line instructions. Gauge is 20sts = 4" in Moss or Seed Stitch, using a heavier worsted-weight yarn.
Samples shown were made using Cascade Ecological and Eco+ Peruvian Highland wool, but the stocking looks great using any smoothly spun, solidly colored yarn.
